Sustainable Living Workshops: The Art of Growing Seasonally
Schedule
Thu Mar 13 2025 at 10:00 am to 11:30 am
UTC+08:00Location
Dardanup Hall | East Bunbury, WA
Growing an Edible garden is a useful way to buffer the rising cost of food. It is fresher, more nutritious and being budget friendly leaves you more $$ to spend on essentials.
You don’t need a huge space or to grow 100% of what you eat, with a bit of clever planning and planting you can enjoy an abundant seasonal harvest.
This workshop will focus on preparing your garden for success. We will cover what crops give you the best value, when to sow for increased yield and making a plan to keep your garden productive year round.
Growing is only part of the process, so we will also explore some delicious ways to cook and preserve your produce.
This is a free event, however bookings are required.
