Sustainable Farming -- Peculiar Pig Farm and Catering

Join us for a special opportunity to meet Marvin Ross of Peculiar Pig Farm and Catering.

Marvin will provide lunch for the meeting, showcasing some of his delicious offerings.

Following lunch, Marvin will address the group, sharing insights into the history, practices, and future plans for Peculiar Pig Farm.

He will discuss the challenges and successes of balancing operating a farm with his catering business and other agribusiness ventures. The farm is situated on an 8-acre parcel of land that his Grandfather once farmed on in Dorchester, South Carolina. Marvin and his brother Jada, the Lead Farmer, use sustainable farming practices, including planting cover crops to utilize the manure left by their livestock. It’s a great chance to learn from Marvin's unique perspective on sustainable farming and entrepreneurship.
