About this Event
Like every quarter, we are organising a thematic event to empower local communities in their sustainability journey, and we are thrilled to have the upcoming one hosted in the beautiful Globe Room at Projects, a B Corp certified co working space in the heart of the Brighton Lanes.
Chaired by Corinne Day, our Biosphere Thematic Lead on Regenerative Business, and in the presence of The Living Coast UNESCO Biosphere chair, Martin Harris, and team, we will introduce several speakers who will share their respective experiences from different business sectors and geographies in our area:

Clean Growth UK is a national innovation network dedicated to accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy, with a local hub based at the University of Brighton:
Dr Marco Picco, Innovation Lead, with a PhD in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Technologies for Energy and Environment, will explain how their NetZero360 programme, carbon calculator, training workshops, and innovation sessions are providing businesses with a comprehensive pathway to achieving net-zero emissions and drive impactful change

The Living Coast UNESCO Biosphere interdisciplinary partnership encompasses a wide array of organisations (voluntary, conservation, community, education, local government, private and public sector). We are a collaborative network sharing best practices and knowledge. Together we promote and deliver actions and solutions supporting sustainable living for everyone in our area. Every quarter we organise thematic meetings that are linked to our strategic goals, inviting a series of local experts to share their knowledge and foster action to tackle climate change & biodiversity loss.
