About this Event
The Transmutation Principle is hosting a free sustainability community workshop on
April 23rd 2:30pm - 6pm at The Sustainability Academy.
We are building a community of people who are curious, concerned and want to contribute to making Singapore a more sustainable and climate aware society!
About Climate Action & Social Inclusivity:
Climate Change often affects people unequally and often highlights many social inequalities. By learning about climate change, we also hope to create an inclusive society that strives towards a more sustainable Singapore while holding onto to importance of harmony and collective efforts in our diverse society.
Refreshments provided.
Our workshop methodology: Climate Fresk
The Climate Fresk is a science-based workshop that aims to educate and raise awareness about climate change worldwide. Based on the IPCC report, it explains how and why the climate changes at the current pace and the consequences of its disruption.
The workshop is based on a 42-card game. Each card represents a topic, a cause or a consequence of climate change. As a team, guided by your facilitator, you are to find the cause-effect relationship between the different components of climate change.
Collective intelligence will get you from one deck of cards to the next!
This step-by-step collage provides keys to understand the complexity and develop a strong understanding of the science.
