Sustainability Skills, Community and Lifelong Learning
About this Event
While the event itself is free of charge, consumption at the venue is compulsory. We appreciate your understanding that our team works voluntarily, but the venue needs to pay rent and other bills :)
In this event you will explore:
- Lifelong Learning as both a personal responsibility and a collective tool for sustainable transformation.
- how the concept of Lifelong learning has evolved over time, particularly within the European context
- how EU policies and skills agendas are increasingly connected to sustainability, digitalisation, inclusion, and social resilience
- how individuals can apply knowledge locally through community engagement, advocacy, and everyday action
🌱Swap Shop🌱: To encourage circular economy - Bring your pre-loved items like a book, a mug, or a painting with you and give your items an opportunity to find a new home. They will be laid out on a table during the mid-event break for everyone to see and pick! (No clothing please, but accessories are more than welcome) What a great way to reduce waste!
Luisa Esposito is a very experienced Project Manager at EIT Urban Mobility of European Union, working on projects at the intersection of education, innovation, and sustainability. She has worked across diverse international environments and enjoys bringing people together, building collaborations, and developing projects that connect education with wider societal and sustainability challenges.
The interactive talk will begin at 19:00 sharp, please aim to arrive at 18:45 to have time to check-in at the entrance and grab a drink at the bar 😊
Disclaimer: We take photos at the event and record the conversation for follow up and material distribution with the participants and use some selected photos on our social media pages. We don't sell or give direct access to any of these materials to any outside parties. However, if you do NOT want to be in the photos / have your voice recorded, you need to let us know either before the event by email: [email protected] or tell us at the venue during check in. Unless you tell us otherwise, by registering you AGREE to let us take photos and voice recordings.
This workshop is part of the series of events called Tapa Talks, facilitated by Environmental Social Association - ESA Logika. We put a lot of effort into designing these events to provide access to a safe space for free education, community building, resource sharing and active hope. If you would like to support our mission, we have a GoFundMe account.
Tapa Talks is an interactive monthly workshop about amazing new tools, practices and possibilities that could help us achieve a sustainable future 🌍 ❤️ Building a like-minded community, we focus on positive thinking, cooperation and solutions. The venue is also a cultural association and provides delicious and affordable tapas and drinks.
At Tapa Talks, we're not just talking; we're taking action for a greener and more sustainable future!
