What's behind the clothes we buy? This workshop will tackle the main challenges faced by the fashion industry from a designer's perspective.
About this Event

We will explore:
-What is behind the glamour of luxury fashion
-Fast fashion and overconsumption
-Unpaid labor and workers' rights
-The rise of second-hand fashion
-The history of cultural appropriation
-How fashion frees and polices our bodies

And, more importantly, what can we actually do about it as consumers?
The discussion will be followed by a few drinks and a chance to mingle!

The conversation will be led by Iris Favand, founder and designer of the fashion brand IF COLLECTIONS, and will take place within the pop-up store showcasing her creations. The pop-up will also feature antique fashion pieces by @patine.perche and silk scarves by @botanibloom
