Join Sussex Trail Runners for a breathtaking 20 km (12.5 miles) trail run through the rolling landscapes of the South Downs, starting from the historic town of Arundel. This route features 440 meters (1,450 feet) of elevation gain, taking in stunning views, challenging climbs, and flowing trails through one of Sussex’s most beautiful areas.After traveling through Arundel Park, we’ll ascend Amberley Mount, a classic South Downs climb offering rewarding panoramic views, before traversing the scenic ridgeways of Wepham Down, where wide-open trails stretch across the landscape. Expect a mix of undulating terrain, grassy trails, and chalky tracks, making for an exciting and varied run.
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the picturesque countryside, historic landmarks, and peaceful trails that make this area a trail runner’s paradise. Whether you’re looking for a challenge or just a great day out on the trails, this run has something for everyone.
