Discover how to use field guides in both identification and as a reference to improve your nature journaling practice. This event will be inside with the option of being outside (weather permiting). There are pavillion areas reserved for the group. Experiment with the use of a feild guide to enhance a nature journal entry.

Info: Gain an understanding of how to use these various books. Specifically to integrate them as a valuable tool for a nature journaling practice.

Info: Grab a field guide and incorporate into a journal page. Work in the library or the nearby Environmental Center or at a picnic table. Lancaster Public Library cards are used to check out materials. Work on your own or with another. Focused time to observe, learn, create. Enjoy your bag lunch (bring your own).

Info: Gather and discuss what was learned: something new, something observed, a technique tried, a new thought. Share the page created that day or a recently created page. All sharing is an optional activity and not required, hanging out to listen is perfectly okay.

Info: Need to move after all that sitting and journaling? Take a meander down a nearby trail with a PA Master Naturalist. Dress for the weather, appropriate footwear a must. Route TBD
