Sushi with Chef Edie Goik

Chef Edie is the Executive Chef of Maru in East Lansing and has been a sushi chef for nearly a decade. She works in the community to host sushi workshops and as a private sushi chef for dinners and parties. For this workshop, she’ll be showing participants how to prepare and roll your own sushi! This workshop will teach you to make a few classic rolls while also showcasing different types of sushi, like nigiri. Some vegan and vegetarian options will be available.

Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes for working in the kitchen. Hair that is shoulder-length or longer needs to be tied back. 

Parking is available in the lot on the East side of the center, as well as on the surrounding streets, Kalamazoo, Allen and Shepard.
