Sail aboard one of the magnificent Tall Ships, the 101′ Schooner Aurora. View Newport harbor as you sip sake from Gekkeikan, and sample some great sushi. Experience Newport's rich tradition of sailing. Sailing is more leisurely than it was when Commodore Perry's Black Ships sailed the Pacific, and the Black Ships Festival and IM Medicine are proud to offer two sails aboard the schooner Aurora, a 101' tall ship reminiscent of what sailed the seas in Perry's era.
Aboard the Aurora, passengers are invited to sip chilled Gekkeikan sake and enjoy fresh sushi sailing in Narrangansett Bay.
Space is limited. A sellout every year! Tickets are $75. Tickets for this event are available online only. Sake is only for 21+.

* Please arrive 15 mins prior to the sail to get checked in. Be sure to allow for traffic, boat leaves promptly. Parking for the Schooner Aurora is located on Goat Island and is available anywhere in the "S" Dock Parking Lot or along "A" Dock. - Purchase Tickets Here - Please note tickets will not be mailed, your name will be on a list when you arrive.
