Sample sushi, sake and spring for this first-ever event at Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden, which was created 40 years ago this year! (2025)Craft Sushi will offer guests a choice of rolls and several varieties of sake will be included for sampling 🍣 Options available for dietary restrictions.
🎶 A traditional dessert with a warmed sake sample will follow entertainment by Molly Healey and Dallas Jones, two well-known Springfield musicians who have both represented Springfield at the annual festival in sister city, Isesaki, Japan. 🇯🇵
Meanwhile, guests can preview spring in the garden at twilight before it opens for the season on April 1.

🍶 Age: 21 yrs. and up ONLY
☀️ Takes place rain or shine; will move indoors to the Botanical Center if necessary. ☔️ REGISTRATION LIMITED to 150 guests. Open until 5 p.m., Friday, March 21, or until SOLD OUT.
Proceeds will benefit enhancement of the 7.5-acre garden, created with traditional Japanese garden and landscaping techniques through the generous sharing of knowledge from Isesaki’s garden community.
