**Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Free Will Donation Meal**
Shortly before Christmas, Susan went in to have a mammogram because of a lump that she felt. The mammogram led to an ultrasound which also showed an affected lymph node. A biopsy was then completed that same day and a few days later she received her results, a confirming diagnosis of an aggressive type of breast cancer. She saw a surgeon, and then an oncologist who ordered additional testing. The further testing brought more devastating news. The cancer has already spread to her liver and vertebrae. Susan is a very generous person always giving to others and now it is our time to do the same for her! She will need at least 6 rounds of chemotherapy followed by surgery and possible radiation. The funds received will help cover medical costs and additional expenses due to missing work.
