A Book Signing, Discussion and Lunch!Author Susan Patterson and her witty, dashingly handsome, bestselling author husband, James Patterson, have collaborated together again with their new novel, The Mother-Daughter Book Club, on sale April 2026. Now you can join the two authors at GLAZER HALL as they talk about book publishing, making movies and philanthrophy and receive a copy of their new bestseller before it hits bookstands. Susan & James have co-authored several NYTimes best-selling children’s books in the “Little Geniuses” series, including Big Words for Little Geniuses, Cuddly Critters for Little Geniuses, and Bigger Words for Little Geniuses, focusing on big words and learning through fun, vibrant stores for kids. The Mother-Daughter Book Club is a follow-up to their debut novel, NYT best-seller, Things I Wish I Told My Mother, inspired by Susan’s mother and a tribute to mothers and daughters.
Susan spent her early years in advertising as an art director and SVP at J. Walter Thompson-New York, and is also an accomplished photographer. Susan earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Fine Arts in education from The University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was an All American swimmer. Susan is a trustee of the Board of Directors, the school of Education Board of Visitors and the Athletic Directors Circle at Wisconsin. Previously, she served on the Presidents Leadership Council at Brown University and chaired the Landmarks Preservation Commission here in Palm Beach.
Susan says, “who cares”, but James is the most popular storyteller of our time, having sold over 475 million books worldwide and holding the Guinness World Record for the most #1 New York Times bestsellers by an author. Susan and James are residents of Palm Beach. They’re funny together and hopelessly in love.
