SURVIVAL OF THE REMNANT: TO FINALLY BE WANTED is a 2024 American independent crime/romance film written and directed by Cifen and shot by cinematographer Isabel Galvan. An underground hip-hop artist named Relic is caught up in a lifestyle of crime with his young accomplice. Amidst the pressure of making life-changing decisions about their livelihood, a mystery threat emerges, hell-bent on disposing of Relic’s existence. While living a life full of heists, fights, and chases, Relic encounters one thing he's never faced before: romance. This independent, full-length film stars Cifen, who also wrote and directed it. The cast includes Veyle, Mia Fernandez, Shiloh Greaves, Jenna Atencio, Patrick Gidaya, James Hardy, Dave Markham, and George Schimmel. Production took place in Southern California and was shot and edited by Isabel Galvan. The soundtrack features original music produced by Cifen, Jahquest Williams, and Aamir Wells. With two previous Gardena Cinema short film releases, Cifen set out to make a better film that is both more action-packed and plot-driven than before. Did he pull it off? Free parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the Gardena Cinema on the north side.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY TICKET?

Upon purchase, ticket will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment from Eventbrite. When you arrive to the event, please show the entrance attendant the bar code on your ticket at the entrance to the cinema, either by holding up your printed version, or by displaying it on your phone or smart device. Attendant will scan it to check you in, and you'll be good to go into the auditorium!

CAN I BRING FOOD / SNACKS?

NO! This is an indoor screening. Please do not bring outside food or drinks inside the cinema. Tasty refreshments and fresh popped popcorn will be sold at the cinema snack bar.

WILL YOU HAVE RESTROOMS?

YES! Gardena Cinema's lobby, snack bar, and restrooms will be open.

MAY I BRING MY PET WITH ME?

Sorry, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE ACTUAL CINEMA BUILDING, (where restrooms and snack bar are located).
