🧘 🌕 🎶 😴 Join us on this evening of the full moon to immerse yourself in this deeply relaxing and healing practice. Kristina will guide you through a yoga nidra practice and followed by an extended savasana where you will you will surrender to the sacred sound of a gong sound bath provided by Jim Currin. We'll be finding stillness as we absorb the light and energy from our community, emerging renewed and refreshed. 🎟️ Advance Registration online required: $20
🚪 Doors Open at 6pm for a sharing of hot tea and community
🕰️ Practice begins at 6:30pm
⏰ Please arrive 10 mins early to settle in to the space if not joining us for tea.
🧘 Bring your mat if you have one, if not we have a limited supply at the studio. Blocks, blankets, and bolsters available for you to use at the studio. You are welcome to bring any other comforting props you desire such as special blankets or pillows.
👕 Wear comfortable clothing. Prepare to be on the cooler side temperature wise as you'll be in stillness for the duration of the session.
🌕 We welcome Jim Currin to the studio as our gong sound bath facilitator! Jim is a graduate of the Inner Engineering program and Shambhavi Mahamudra offered by Sadhguru through the Isha Institute of Inner-Sciences.

Kristina Lawrence is an Occupational Therapist with over 28 years of experience. Kristina completed her 200hr YTT in 2011 with the intention of creating a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western therapeutic practices to help others find balance and healing with both the body and mind. Other certifications acquired by Kristina include myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, sound healing, yin yoga, yoga nidra, kinesio-taping, and more. This session is suitable for those recovering from acute physical or emotional trauma, managing chronic conditions, or seeking a deeply nourishing practice.
🌕 What is a Gong Sound Bath?
*Sound Healing:
Gong baths are a type of sound therapy that utilizes the therapeutic effects of sound vibrations.
*Immersive Experience:
Participants typically lie down or sit comfortably while being surrounded by the sounds of the gong.
This yoga nidra practice can help re-tune the body on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual
levels.
*Benefits:
-Some people report experiencing emotional release, stress reduction and enhanced meditation
during a gong bath.
What to Expect During a Gong Bath:
*Comfortable Setting: Participants usually lie down on mats or sit comfortably with blankets and
pillows.
*Guided Experience: A facilitator will play the gongs and other instruments, creating a soundscape
that guides the participants through the experience.
*Sensory Experience: You may experience a variety of sensations, including vibrations, sounds,
and emotions.
*Potential for Deep Relaxation: Some people may fall into a state of deep relaxation or even
sleep.
*Post-Session Feelings: After the session, you may feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and more centered.
