Surface Treatments Workshop with Stacy Morgan

Come join Stacy for an intensive, information packed hands on workshop, learning how to slip trail on your pottery! Slip trailing is a versatile technique of applying liquid slip to pottery to add extra visual and textural interest. We will cover all aspects of slip trailing from preparing slip for the best, most predictable results, adjusting slip, learning to slip trail, and a few extra surprise techniques with colored slip!
Stacy will also lead participants in octopus creation and surface treatments of their piece.
Skill Level - This workshop covers surface decoration, so having basic clay skills is required, but is beginner friendly. Suitable for hand builders or wheel throwers alike.
