IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!! You guys already know what's going down!
Hello and welcome to year 12 (13?) of our annual Galveston cruise!
After seeing some of the chaos from the previous years and the growing number of attendees, we're going to tweak this year a little bit more.
Our original spot used to be AMC 30 Gulf, but trying to orchestrate the number of cars we have to be able to exit the theater and on to the freeway is usually a chore, so our new spot will be Almeda Mall.

This put us next to the free way so getting on as a group should be quick and easy. We will try to see if we can get police/security to block feeder road traffic for us to all get on the freeway as quickly and as efficiently as possible, or I may need a couple of volunteers to help block.
The next change is our lunch spot. The new spot is called Fish Tales:
2502 Seawall Blvd
Galveston, TX 77550
It's a big, spacious restaurant and their entire second floor patio seating should be able to accommodate all of us. The parking lot they use is the same for Pleasure Pier, so there's a ton of space with 2 entrances (along the seawall and on the backside). HOWEVER, parking is free BEFORE 1130AM, so it is important that we leave the mall by 10AM on the dot. If there's available spots, you can park along the seawall as well for about $5.
Organizing for Cherry Hill photos from there should be easy since we're all on the same lot rather than being scattered about. We will dismiss the MK2s & MK3s first, followed by the MK4, and then MK5s.
Weather may surprise us. If it gets a little toastier than expected, I highly recommend you guys bring a small cooler or something with water while we're at the hill.
