Positive Steps Consulting has a long and exceptional history of event planning and delivering high quality and cost-effective professional development opportunities to health and human services providers across the United States. Together, with Partners in Community Development (PICD), our nonprofit partner focuses on serving in low–income housing developments and providing wrap around services for children and families, have facilitated several community events across NY State focused on “inclusion”. Their support has complimented the long-standing success of the Housing and Support Services Conference, which has convened hundreds of professionals to learn, network, and engage in deliberate discussions offering new ideas and best practices models.

This year’s theme: "Supportive and Affordable Housing Matters: Supporting People & Building Inclusive Communities" challenges us to examine the systems that shape affordable housing access, ensure that voices and lived experience meaningfully guide housing solutions, and commit to building equitable, person‑centered approaches that strengthen communities and expand opportunity for all.
