Supporting Youth in Work-Based Learning

This professional development session is designed for industry partners who currently support students in work-based learning or are interested in getting involved. Participants will explore best practices for creating meaningful and supportive workplace experiences for youth. The training will cover:

• Educational Expectations: Understanding the goals and requirements of work-based learning programs.
• Compliance and Safety: Gaining a foundational understanding of the New Hampshire Department of Labor’s role and regulations.
• Mentorship Strategies: Learning how to provide effective on-site guidance and structured mentorship to help students succeed.
