Presentation Description: We are all born with an innate curiosity and desire to explore. This is how we learn. Young children make the best scientists, they take in the world around them, making observations and conducting simple experiments, “Gee, what happens when I feed my breakfast to the dog?”, yet at some point in life many of us are turned off toward science. How can we, as parents, continue to foster that innate sense of curiosity and encourage our kids to explore the world around them? With simple materials, a bit of planning and the power of play we can create hours of exploration that will stimulate a child’s brain, inspire curiosity and develop a joy and sense of ownership around their learning.
