Supporting your child's sleep - for Parent Carers in Wales (Llandudno)

Sleep difficulties are common in children and even more prevalent among those with additional needs. When a child struggles to fall or stay asleep, it can affect the wellbeing of the whole family.

This is a bespoke workshop in North Wales led by Dr Marc Johnson of Clinical Wellness and the Contact Cymru team, this workshop will cover:

• Understanding the anatomy of sleep
• Common sleep issues and possible causes
• Practical strategies to help your child improve their sleep
• looking at the importance of sleep and tips to support nightime routines
• what to do if the problem worsens, or who to see if there is no improvement

The session will be interactive and there will be time for questions, as well as signposting to further sources of support.

Warm drinks and a buffet will be provided to all attendees.

Unfortunately, we do not have childcare facilities, this is a session for adults only so please make alternative arrangements for childcare during the workshop.
