About this Event
Join us for a special event where a panel of experts will explore ways that parents and carers can encourage healthy relationships between teens and screens.
Inspired by ABC’s new series The Role of a Lifetime, which brings real life parenting scenarios facing parents and carers of teens to life and offers factual explorations of the dilemmas, as well as guidance for parents, this event will be a chance to extend the discussion about how to help teens can thrive online.
ABC’s National Culture Correspondent Beverly Wang will lead a conversation between Raising Children Network Director Derek McCormack, eSafety Commissioner Dr Julie Inman Grant, Headspace Board Youth Advisor Dr Sarthak Ghandi and Psychologist Dr Marie Yap. the panel discussion will be recorded and broadcast on ABC Radio National’s Big Ideas program.
Be part of the live audience for this exciting event on Tuesday 11 March, 6pm-7.30pm, at the Ella Latham Theatre, Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Audience members will have a chance to submit questions for the panel during the live event. Tickets are free but limited. If you book, but can no longer attend - please cancel your booking so the spot is available.
