Event Description: Join us in rallying around Samantha, a beloved member of our community and an extraordinary bartender at Nathan Bill’s Bar & Restaurant and Thomas J. Sullivan Banquet Hall. Ever since Sam joined the Nathan Bill’s family, she has been a true ray of sunshine—especially on Sunday mornings, where she entertained Griffin’s Friends Running Club and our Sunday Funday guests with her warmth and upbeat personality.
Sam is well-known for her famous "Mug of the Day" pictures and Facebook posts that brought smiles to so many. She’s been an invaluable team member, known for her reliability, professionalism, and exceptional ability to handle events in both our banquet hall and main bar.
Earlier this year, Samantha had to step away from her job due to serious health challenges. She has been bravely battling multiple autoimmune conditions, including P.O.T.S., Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, MCAS, and Dysautonomia. These debilitating illnesses have left her unable to work and placed a significant financial burden on her.
Over the past several months, Samantha has faced an exhausting journey of doctor appointments, hospital visits, and specialist consultations. Most of these costs have come out-of-pocket. Now, there’s hope on the horizon! A promising new treatment is available at a center in Maine, offering her the chance for relief and improved quality of life. Unfortunately, this program isn’t covered by insurance and comes with a steep price tag.
Samantha has always been the kind of person to lift up those around her. She’s the cheerleader for anyone in need, a constant source of warmth, care, and laughter. Now, it’s our turn to lift her up.
