Supporting parents when a child is in therapy.
This workshop is for Child Therapists who want to deepen their understanding of supporting parents in understanding their child better.
This is not a workshop for direct focused work with parents or child/parent work. This requires a specific training.

Develop knowledge around the different styles of parenting and attachment experiences.
What does parental support look like on a practical level.
Recognising and maintaining professional and personal boundaries
Enhance your skills in recognising what the parent needs and what the child needs.
Gain an understanding of potential barriers to building a positive relationship
