Join the Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County (LDAWC) for a free workshop designed to support parents, caregivers, educators, and professionals in better understanding children's mental health and family well-being.
Presented by Taylor Ashley Therapy, this interactive workshop will explore practical strategies for supporting children while also recognizing the importance of caregiver well-being.
During this workshop, you'll learn about:
- Supporting children's mental health and emotional well-being
- Understanding the unique challenges families may experience
- Practical strategies to foster resilience and healthy coping skills
- Caring for yourself while caring for others
- Community resources and supports available to families
- Opportunities for questions and discussion
Whether you're supporting a child with a learning disability, ADHD, or other complex needs, this workshop aims to provide practical tools, evidence-informed strategies, and a supportive space to learn and connect.
