Advance tickets required: https://gooseevents.square.site/Join Flying Dirt Farm for this hands-on floral arranging workshop celebrating the vibrant forms and colors of farm-fresh dahlias, the star blooms of late summer and early fall.
October 11 is International Day of the Girl, and Goose is donating a portion of each ticket price to UNICEF Supporting Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis. With their unique geometric forms and swirly petals, dahlias symbolize creativity, growth, positivity, inner strength -- what better beauty to arrange in support of girls + young women, especially in these times.
During this workshop, you’ll:
- Learn pro floral design essentials, featuring dahlias as a focal flower. Create your own design with hands-on instruction and keep what you make. All materials included.
- Explore companion stems and foliage grown at Flying Dirt Farm in Madison County, Indiana
- Feast on Goose's seasonal charcuterie board with paired accoutrements and wines to enjoy throughout the class
The experts at Flying Dirt Farm will talk about why locally grown flowers matter—for the environment, for our community, and for the art of floral design. Plus no shipping boxes or chemicals: just fresh, beautiful blooms cut right from their local fields.
This workshop is a perfect summer outing in Goose's private event space above the market (accessible only by stairs).
Advance tickets are required and space is limited -- order yours today!
