This training program is aimed at supervisors and/or team leaders, or those aspiring to these roles, within various agricultural sectors. Delivered over 4 workshop sessions that combine face to face and virtual delivery, on the following dates;
Face to Face | Wednesday 13th November - Horticulture House, 255 Bourbong Street Bundaberg West | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Virtual delivery | Wednesday 20th November - option to attend Horticulture House | time to be confirmed
Virtual delivery | Wednesday 27th November - option to attend Horticulture House | time to be confirmed
Face to Face | Wednesday 4th December - Horticulture House, 255 Bourbong Street Bundaberg West | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Participants will need to provide own laptop, e-device or at an absolute minimum a smart phone. The trainer will do his best to work with the group.
For participants to gain the most from this program, they should be able to access the online content for more learning, and engage in both the face to face and online sessions, ideally working with the trainer to complete some activities that need an electronic device.
Upon registration, participants will receive an email from UQSkills to finalise enrolment into the training.

The unit covers organising instruction, conducting training sessions, assessing learner performance, and reflecting on personal teaching effectiveness.
Key skills include gathering information about learners, creating a safe learning environment, using effective communication and coaching techniques, and providing feedback.
