Classic Movie Night: Superman: The Movie

Join emcee and local film enthusiast John Alexander for Classic Movie Night at The Virginia, featuring the 1978 superhero classic Superman The Movie directed by Richard Donner and starring Christopher Reeve. This special screening is presented as part of The Great American Summer Series, celebrating America’s 250th birthday.

Follow the journey of Clark Kent from Smallville farm boy to the hero the world would come to know as Superman. As he embraces his extraordinary powers, he must protect Metropolis from the brilliant and dangerous Lex Luthor. With sweeping music by John Williams and a performance that defined a generation, Superman The Movie remains one of the most iconic and inspiring superhero films ever made.
