For nearly 60 years, WRHL Radio has been the voice of Rochelle and surrounding communities, keeping listeners informed, entertained, and connected. Signing on the air on September 16, 1966, WRHL has covered local news, high school sports, weather, community events, and the stories that matter most to northern Illinois. The station's call letters even stand for "W RocHeLLe," reflecting its deep roots in the community.
Today, Rochelle Broadcasting Company proudly operates three local stations, each serving listeners with its own unique format:
🎵 SuperHits 93.5 (WRHL-FM Translator) – Playing the greatest hits from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, along with local news, weather, sports, and community programming. Since adopting the SuperHits format in 2020, it has become the soundtrack for classic car enthusiasts and music lovers alike.
🤠 102.3 The Coyote (WYOT-FM) – North Central Illinois' home for today's country music, local personalities, news, weather, sports, and community involvement. Originally launched in 1973 as WRHL-FM, the station became 102.3 The Coyote in 2012 and adopted the WYOT call letters in 2015.
📻 WRHL 1060 AM – The station that started it all in 1966. Today it continues to serve the community with local programming while simulcasting SuperHits 93.5, preserving its long tradition of hometown broadcasting.
