In this engaging, hands-on workshop, acclaimed Marvel Comics artist Jerry DeCaire, whose work includes Deadpool, Wolverine, Thor, and many other legendary superheroes, guides you through the exciting process of creating your own comic book artwork.
Using an easy-to-follow, step-by-step drawing method, you’ll learn how to draw a favorite superhero profile before exploring superhero anatomy, proportions, and dynamic poses by developing a full superhero figure from a geometric framework. You’ll then discover the art of professional comic book inking, using pens and markers to add bold lines, depth, and detail to your artwork.
Throughout the workshop, Jerry shares insights into the creative process behind comic book storytelling while encouraging you to build confidence, no matter your skill level, and have fun. The program will conclude with an interactive Q&A.
