Determine which type of AVP MEMBERSHIP is best for you. Minimum SILVER level required.
ATTN: Teams with incomplete info (either 1 player listed or an invalid AVP #) have ONE WEEK after registration to enter and/or complete team info! After that, the team will be removed from the tournament WITHOUT refund.
On Wednesday of tournament week, a division with fewer than 5 teams may be combined into another division -OR- the # of teams in one division may be limited (capped) to allow more space in another.
TIMES
Check in 9:30-9:45am BOTH players must be on site before the team can check in. Late or incomplete teams will not play. No refund.
Play starts by 10:00am
Coolers & outside drinks are NOT allowed in the facility.
Bar Tenders are NOT allowed to fill water bottles!
Grill & Chill opens 11:30am!
FORMAT
Pool Play + Single Elimination Playoffs. (Teams from the same pool MIGHT compete against each other in Playoffs!)
In playoffs, teams are REQUIRED to stay & ref the next game/match after they lose. That is expected and part of participating in tournament play.
CANCELLATIONS / NO-SHOWS / REFUNDS
Registrations cancelled by Thursday of tournament week at 8pm are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations after Thursday at 8pm are not refunded.
It is up to one of the team members to withdraw the team from the tournament. 'Withdrawing' prior to 8pm on Thursday automatically prompts a full refund.
Regardless of whether or not a refund is available, registered teams who are not able to participate are expected to communicate that information to Third Coast as early as possible. [email protected]
A no-show is defined as withdrawing from a tournament fewer than 8 hours before check-in via email, in person or over the phone.
If a registered team no-shows, both players will not be permitted to participate in the next Juniors tournament at Third Coast.
If a team or player no-shows more than once in a calendar year, the player(s) will not be permitted to participate in the following 4 tournaments (may including tourneys the following calendar year).
If a team must withdraw on the 'day of a tournament' please call Third Coast 713.974.6837 and speak to a human! Do NOT leave a message – call back & speak to a real live human.
**FACILITY POLICIES** Please read now, so there is no need to weep later!
**WATER** Bar Tenders are NOT ALLOWED to fill water bottles! Please don't ask! A cold water fountain is available on site for your convenience.
**ICE** is available with purchase.
**DOGS** are allowed in the facility and MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES. Doggie parents are 100% responsible for CLEANING UP after their fur babies! Poop bags are available on site. The Poop Patrol is watching you! Violators will not be permitted to bring their pooch back. Dogs that bark incessantly or appear aggressive will not be allowed to remain at or in the facility ~ regardless of whether or not their hooman parent is playing in the tournament!
**CHILDREN** MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. Unattended children are not allowed to order from the snack bar.
**DRINKS & COOLERS** ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN THE FACILITY. ALL BAGS BROUGHT ON TO THE PROPERTY ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH. Anyone caught bringing in outside drinks or coolers will be asked to leave the premises (regardless of whether or not the person is participating in the tournament).
**PARKING** Please use our fenced in parking lots BEFORE parking on the street! If parking on the street, DO NOT block our neighbor's driveways OR park in their parking lots. Otherwise, your car WILL BE TOWED (at owner's expense). Do not leave ANY items visible in your car ~ ever ~ in ~ Houston ~ or ~ anywhere ~ else ~ for ~ that ~ matter! LOCKERS ARE AVAILABLE for use free of charge (located in bathrooms). BYOL - bring your own lock.
**TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR** Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust any aspect of the tournament or tournament play before or during the tournament and without prior notice.
**PLAYER CONDUCT** Any player, spectator, coach or parent who displays poor sportsmanship will be removed from the premises immediately. This includes but is not limited too; yelling at refs, players, tournament officials, other parents or coaches, kicking balls, cursing, threatening physical violence in any way or being generally obnoxious.
Now that the heavy stuff is out of the way. Grab your shades, sunscreen, drink LOTS of WATER and let's have some fun in the sun!
