SUP Hike and Camp (2 days)
About this Event
Escape the everyday and join Boots On Adventures for a weekend of hiking, camping and stand-up paddleboarding in the beautiful Kent countryside.
Starting in Yalding, you’ll enjoy a guided 10-mile walk, taking in sections of the Medway Valley, Greensand Way and Weald Way. Afterwards, relax back at camp with a delicious Dutch oven meal, a campfire and a night beneath the stars.
On Sunday, enjoy a guided SUP experience on the River Medway. No previous experience is needed, with instruction and support provided before you take to the water.
A weekend of adventure, good company and time outdoors. Walk. Paddle. Camp.
Saturday 19 September 2026 – Hike, Camp & Campfire
Your adventure begins at 9:30am, when we’ll welcome you to camp in Yalding. Get settled into your pre-pitched tent before we set off on a guided 10-mile hike through the Kent countryside.
Our route takes in sections of three long-distance trails: the Medway Valley Walk, Greensand Way and Weald Way. Along the way, we’ll explore the landscape, discover some local history and enjoy the hidden corners of this beautiful part of Kent.
After a day on the trail, we’ll return to camp to relax around the fire. Enjoy a freshly prepared Dutch oven meal, followed by a relaxed evening of good company and campfire treats beneath the stars.
Sunday 20 September 2026 – Paddle the River Medway
After breakfast at camp, we’ll head to the water for the second part of the adventure.
Our experienced SUP guide, Ana, will begin with a lesson to help everyone feel comfortable and confident on their board. No previous SUP experience is needed.
Once ready, we’ll set off on a guided paddle along the beautiful River Medway, taking in the peaceful riverside scenery from a completely different perspective.
The weekend will finish at approximately 2pm, leaving you with plenty of memories, new experiences and hopefully a few new adventure buddies too.
Two days. Three adventures. One unforgettable weekend.
