The Sunshine Jazz celebrates our 38th Season with a very special presentation at our monthly series "1st Fridays Live at The Lyric".
SJO's November 1st concert performance will feature Grammy-winning musician Richard Bona!
Richard Bona is one of the most accomplished international bass players, composers and multi-instrumentalists. With his unique sound and vocal gift he is continuously representing his African origins. Bona’s music addresses the continent’s traditions, culture, beauty and issues. "1st Fridays at The Lyric" is presented at the Lyric Theater and Black Archives in Overtown Miami, Fl., located across from The Red Rooster, celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson's popular restaurant.
