Join us for an hour of relaxing hatha yoga accompanied by the soothing sounds of crystal bowls infused with reiki energy as the sun sets on Service Club Beach, in Venice, FL!Bring your own large towel or something to practice yoga on. Hatha yoga focuses on posture and breathing techniques and this class is open to everyone. Great for beginners and experienced yogis! There is no registration, just show up and grab a spot on the sand. We are usually over on the left side of the beach. This class continues each week based on the donations we receive from you and the other participants.
Your donation pays for the expertise of the certified Yoga Instructor and certified Sound Healer Practitioner & Reiki Master providing this class, in addition to the permitting and insurance required by Sarasota County to offer this on the public beach. We offer this class by donation, on an honor system, so everyone can afford to experience Yoga and Sound Healing at less than a studio price in an amazing outdoor setting. Typically a yoga class in a studio with live sound healing is at least $30 per person but if you give $10-$20 we are grateful! Your contribution allows us to keep this weekly class going. We want everyone to experience a restorative, peaceful evening no matter what you can give so please join us!
Led by Yoga Instructor, Cassandra Nicole Heggan from Yoga with Cassandra and Sound Healer & Reiki Master, Sharon Lesko from Sound Alternative.
We typically host this event every Wednesday about an hour before sunset so be sure to like our Sound Alternative and Yoga with Cassandra pages to view the events and know when the start time changes with the sunset times.
*We'll always try to announce through the FB event about 45-30 minutes before if we have to cancel due to the weather so be sure to click you are "Going" if you want to receive the updates.*
