Sunset Tube Float

Enjoy a relaxing sunset float on the Haw! Starting with a fun slide through the Indian Valley dam bypass tunnel, we'll have a 1 mile lazy river float down to the Great Bend Park take-out, basking in the sunset views behind us on this East-West stretch of the river. Float time depends on river level, but average 1.5-2 hours.
This trip is great for guests who just want a relaxing float down the Haw. With little development along the heavily forested banks, this section of the river is teeming with wildlife, from herons and osprey to turtles and mink! The bypass tunnel provides an exciting and unique start to an otherwise classic lazy river tubing experience. With an experienced Haw River guide for safety and local lore, this is a trip anybody can enjoy!
