Sunset Summit Hike: Black Girl Outdoor Adventures at Stone Mountain
About this Event
Join Black Girl Outdoor Adventures for a sunset hike designed exclusively for Black women who are ready to move their bodies, connect with community, and experience nature in a supportive and empowering space.
This is more than a hike — it’s a guided group experience centered around confidence, sisterhood, and joy.
We’ll hike the iconic Stone Mountain Walk-Up Trail together and reach the summit in time for golden hour views overlooking the Atlanta skyline.
Whether this is your first hike or your fifth, you are welcome here.
Difficulty Level: Moderate
This hike includes:
- sustained uphill walking
- uneven terrain
- granite surfaces that may be slippery when wet
No prior hiking experience is required, but participants should feel comfortable being active for approximately 2 hours.
We'll move at a supportive, group-friendly pace with plenty of opportunities to rest, hydrate, and enjoy the views.
