Sunset Sonic Meditation: An Exploration in Nature of Pauline Oliveros

At the beautiful Couturie Forest, composer and sound artist Lisa E. Harris and musician and archivist Lerin Williams will explore the principles of Pauline Oliveros through exercises from her teachings, grounded in sonic meditation. These exercises will include collective improvisation, healing breathwork, listening and responding, observations of the ecological soundscape, and practices of ancestral remembering.
