Kick off your weekend with an evening paddle on Lake Newport in Mill Creek MetroParks. Explore the wetlands with a naturalist and enjoy the views from the water as the sun sets in the park. Beginners welcome!

WHERE: Mill Creek Metroparks- Lake Newport
DETAILS: Meet at the East Newport boat ramp on Lake Newport. It is helpful to use the Google Maps navigation app to get you there. You can bring your own kayak or use one of ours. It is important that you arrive a half hour early to fill out waivers and get fitted with equipment. Suggested personal items to bring: sunscreen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, drinking water, snacks, hand sanitizer, and binoculars. Please wear shoes that can get wet and have a back strap(no flip-flops or Crocs).
FEE: $30 rental/$15 BYOK
