Sunset New Moon Meditation + Gong with HariPrakaash

The New Moon is a beautiful way to start anything new, set new intentions, start new projects, create new thoughtforms, or simply feel inspired to do so.

Join us on the potent energetic grounds of Spiral House to amplify the New Moon.

We will practice a special New Moon Meditation and end with a deep relaxation to the healing vibrations of the Gong. No experience required. Feel comfortable and show up. All are welcome including children. Leave feeling energized, relaxed, and inspired.

This is scheduled to be an outdoor event. Please dress comfortably and be mindful that we will be outside the entire time. If the weather is too cold or rainy, the event will be held indoors.

Meet Your Instructor:

In 1996, she began her practice in Woodstock, New York. She has been a teacher of Yoga since 2006. Her Sadhana (personal practice) and classes benefit from her love for music, creative spirit and connection to planet Earth.

Her prayer is that the teachings continue to flow through her accurately and authentically. She is deeply grateful for her teachers, the teachings and the energy that flows through her. HariPrakaash has inspired and guided dozens of people to take KRI teacher trainings and become teachers themselves. She continues to inspire and uplift the individuals she teaches daily. She holds an International KRI certification in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan (RYT 500). She has attended dozens of Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 courses assisting her teacher in leading trainings all over the planet.

You will find her around the Hudson Valley leading public and private classes/events, including RiverGong events on the Solaris, a solar powered boat in Kingston. She also teaches mindfulness to children in the schools and Libraries. More at HariPrakaash.com + @_HariPrakaash_

About Spiral House Park

Located in the Hudson Valley between Woodstock and Saugerties, the Park is home to Tom Gottsleben's stone and crystal glass sculpture and a house that spirals five stories to form a bluestone nautilus with magnificent views of the Catskill range. The site features extensive mixed native and traditional ornamental gardens and trails that wind through woodlands and abandoned stone quarries.

Gottsleben's art was inspired by nature's art, the fundamental patterns of life. The intersection of art and nature that informed the creation of the property also informs the mission of our nonprofit organization: to enable visitors to experience a sense of wonder in art and nature, and to create programming that supports and transforms the way we see and care for the Earth.

Woodland Trails

Our 1.7 miles of family-friendly trails are designed as interconnected loops, allowing visitors to create walks of varying length and difficulty. These paths lead through the former quarries where stone was gathered to build the sculptures and the Spiral House, past notable geological features, through varied forest habitats, and to scenic overlooks that invite you to pause and enjoy the beauty of the landscape.

For the 2026 season, our trails are open Saturdays and Sundays (hours vary by season, and are always noted on our home page). Entry is free to SHP members.
