SUNSET MISSION – Les Chèvres BC x The North Face – Episode 02
Part sunset hike, part community gathering, Sunset Mission is all about getting outside, challenging yourself, meeting new people, and celebrating summer from one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Vancouver.
Our promise? An evening filled with movement, mountain views, music, community, and a sunset celebration you'll be talking about long after the season ends.

How It Works - Choose your own adventure:
Option 1 – Full Hike
Hike from the base of Cypress Mountain to the summit.
- 3.5 km
- 530 m elevation gain
- Approx. 1–1.5 hours
Option 2 – Half Hike (Chairlift Ticket Required)
Ride the Lions Chairlift and hike the final section to the summit.
- 1.3 km
- 175 m elevation gain
- Approx. 30–40 minutes
At the summit, our volunteer team will welcome you with your YETI cup and a photo opportunity overlooking Vancouver, the ocean, and the Coast Mountains at sunset.
After taking in the views, we'll make our way back to the top of Lions Chair for our mountain-top après celebration.

As golden hour begins, we'll gather for a mountain-top après featuring:

- Sunset giveaway from our presenting partner : everyone at the top of Lions Chair at sunset will be entered in a giveaway to receive a surprise gift from The North Face

Schedule
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Check-in and welcome at the base of Lions Chair.
Independent hike to the summit. Participants can begin their ascent using their chosen route.
Summit views, sunset celebration, mocktails, snacks, music, and community gathering.
🌅 Sunset: 8:56 PM
🚠 Chairlift access available for ascent and descent with the optional chairlift ticket. Last Chairlift is at 8:40PM
Registration Process
Step 1: Purchase Your Event Ticket ($20)
Includes access to the event, partner giveaways, YETI cup, and the summit après experience.
Step 2 (Optional): Purchase a Chairlift Ticket
Choose this option if you'd like to shorten the hike by riding the Lions Chair for the first section of the climb and/or ride the chairlift back down at the end of the evening instead of hiking down with a headlamp.
A discounted chairlift rate is available exclusively to Sunset Mission participants. We will send you a promo code to purchase the ticket before the event.

- Please come prepared with appropriate clothing, water, hiking essentials and your headlamp.
