1st Sunset Lanes Summer Marathon
• Format: Bowlers will bowl two 5 game blocks. Games 1-5 will be on Kegel Gateway Arch. Lanes will then be re-oiled with Kegel Route 66 for games 6-10. A check-in time fort he second block will be announced after the first 5 games. It will be no longer than 90 minutes between blocks.
o Patterns: Kegel Gateway Arch (42ft) and Kegel Route 66 (45ft)
Pattern graphs will be posted
• Check-in starts at 9am, open practice across all competition lanes at 10am, and scoring will begin at 10:10am
• Entry Fee: $100($20-lineage, $80 Prizefund)
o Side Action: Brackets, high game, and $30 super bracket will be offered the last 4 games, and will be separated by block
o Side action for the first block will be paid out during the break. Side action for the second block will open at check-in for the second block.
o All-in number per block will be $350. This breaks down as 30 brackets per set x $5 + $20 high game + $30 super bracket run the back 4 games each block.
• The pay ratio is 1:5. With 40 bowlers, last to cash will doubles their entry. Entries are capped at 66 (6 bowlers per pair x 11 pairs)
• Ties for the cashing number or the win will be broken by a 9th and 10th frame roll off, other ties will be broken by high game
• This event will be USBC Sanctioned. No additional urethane rules will be in affect, if it is USBC approved for league play, it may be used.
• Youth are permitted and encouraged to bowl. Any prize money won will be awarded as scholarship as per USBC Rule 400
Sample payout based on 40 entries. This is a sample and would be adjusted based on entries. (40 bowlers x $80 prize = $3200)
