Welcome, All!This event is an all-levels sunset beach yoga class benefiting the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach!
We begin class by settling into the sand and our space with a breathing exercise, move gently through yoga postures and finish class with a relaxing savasana.
Class is held to the soundtrack of the waves and life along the bay. We never know what we may see or hear. Dolphins and military aircraft have made numerous appearances. Feel free to stop and take a photo!
Class is located on 9th Bay Street in Oceanview, Norfolk (There is street parking). Follow the small lot to the steps and get an amazing view of the bay on your way up. Class is typically held down to the left, once you come off the steps.
I suggest using a large towel or blanket for practice (saves you the hassle of getting sand on your yoga mat). Water, sunscreen and bug spray are also recommended (I always have extra sprays with me if you need).
