When Kenyatta, a former Black revolutionary and long-incarcerated political prisoner, reenters the life of his estranged daughter Nina, he is not seeking forgiveness. He wants something she now controls: the legacy of her late mother—and possibly his own redemption.

Nina has survived by fortifying herself against the world her parents once tried to change. Kenyatta returns carrying guilt, conviction, and unfinished ideals. As father and daughter collide, buried truths emerge about love, power, sacrifice, and the cost of believing in something larger than yourself.
