Hello everyone, I hope you all would like to join TEAM HOPE for our first challenge of 2026. I can honestly say I am personally excited about this challenge and no better time to get it done than on New Year's Day. Setting 2026 up for a new year of exciting adventures to be had, goals to be achieved ,help inspire the uninspired and expand our limitations even further, all while helping so many along the way.
Ditch the same old New Years Eve routines and join us for what will be one of our epic adventures of 2026 by reaching the summit of Mount Errigal for sunrise.
What to pack and wear:
Clothing: Wear warm, non-denim layers. A waterproof jacket is essential, as the weather can change very quickly.
Footwear: Sturdy, secure hiking boots with good grip are ideal. Avoid open-toed shoes and be aware that ice can make surfaces slippery.
Equipment: A head torch is crucial for the dark hike to the summit, plus a small rucksack for your extra gear and food and hiking sticks/polls would also be recommended for winter conditions.
