What - A sunrise Easter service on the shores of Lake Bentonville, in the vicinity of the Canoe Art. Ride your bikes, walk, jog, or come as you may. All are welcome. Service led by Bentonville Church of Christ. Limited parking at Thaden Field or Osage Park. Ride your bikes in if you can.
At approximately 7:20 Local Palooza Bike Groups, led by FAST, will roll out to distribute easter eggs along the protected side path of 8th st, beginning in the vicinity of Best Friends and Third Space Coffee, roll down Applegate Trail which will have a big bunch of candy filled eggs, and will end a short ways into Coler at Airship Coffee in the vicinity of Paradise Found. Easter Egg hunters are encouraged to begin their journey by parking along 8th street and Melissa vicinity, or at the Coler Parking lots adjacent to 3rd Street. The entire Easter Egg route is along Multi-use / Active Transportation paths. There are a couple of intersections to be aware of on 8th, recommend children cross these with adults.
As with Easter Egg hunts and kids, if you think long, you think wrong. We expect eggs to be completely distributed by 8 a.m. and be picked up by the kids by 8:15...
