SUNRISE CELEBRATION – VICTORIA PARK BARRAMBINJoin us to mark one of the most significant moments in Victoria Park Barrambin's long and storied history. On Wednesday November 12 we will commemorate 150 years since this unique landscape was officially set aside as a parkland for the people of Brisbane. As we mark this occasion, we remember that Barrambin was a sacred place long before becoming a park. Home to our First Nations communities since time immemorial, this beautiful part of our city has always been a place of gathering, a site of ceremony and song.
Come along and celebrate all that makes Vic Park special.

DETAILS
When: 6am-8am, Wednesday 12 November
Location: If you arrive via the car park off Herston Road, we will be at the first barbecue shelter, just down from the Victoria Park Function Centre.
What to bring: Picnic blankets, camp chairs, thermoses, coffee and tea.
We will have a celebratory cake, beautiful music and speeches.
Please bring along your Save Victoria Park yard signs - as there may be media present.
