About this Event
"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding - who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
This summer, we invite you to step outside, slow down and reconnect with Allah through the beauty of nature. The Quran is filled with vivid imagery about oceans, palms, gardens, stars as signs placed for hearts to awaken and remember Allah.
Join Team Ta and your fellow Muslim women for a Sunnah Summer Picnic by the sea, inspired by foods mentioned in the Quran and Hadith. Together, we’ll reflect on nature, share a sunnah inspired nourishing picnic, and use guided reflection cards to deepen our connection with Al‑Khaliq (The Creator).
Details:
Location: Eastbourne Beach (Direct trains from London Victoria and London Bridge)
Time: 2pm-6pm
We will be creating a whatsapp group closer to the time to organise group travel and meeting points.
