SUNKEN
Danish atmospheric black metal band SUNKEN have been unfolding their dark, melancholic, depressive soundscapes and ethereal melodies on the European scene since 2012. From the debut EP "The Crackling of Embers" released in 2013, through the longawaited debut full-length record "Departure" from 2017, Sunken have continuously expanded and developed their sound, culminating in the band’s most intense, thorough, and honest album to date; “Livslede” from 2020. The record unfolds a beautiful, sorrowful and extremely personal universe; an emotional journey through anxiety, selfhatred and hopelessness. On October 24th 2025, Sunken will return with their third album "LYKKE" (happiness) released through Eisenwald Records. Once again produced, mixed and mastered by Johan Emanuel Jørgensen, the album explores the struggle with finding and maintaining a sense of happiness and contentment in life, in a world seemingly dominated by misery and distress.

While the band's mysterious spirit is undoubtedly rooted through the sacred pillars of death and black metal, their sound is drenched in a mortiferous haze.
