In November 1936, locals and tourists alike could officially visit Turner’s Sunken Gardens for 15 cents. Celebrate this 90-year milestone with a guided history tour of our botanical paradise.
Walk in the footsteps of founders George and Eula Turner with their granddaughter Kathy Turner Lee as your guide. As a docent and archives volunteer, Kathy will share the triumphs and hardships that shaped the Gardens into the iconic Florida roadside attraction that lives on today. This special tour will begin 1 hour before opening to offer participants a more exclusive experience.
Limited space: 10 people—pre-registration required. Call 727-551-3102 during normal operating hours to register with payment. Cost: $15/members, $35/not-yet-members (includes all-day Gardens admission). *Refunds will not be provided for no-shows.*
