TRUMPET-LED EXPLORATIONS AT THE BEAVER
Four young musicians from Bristol and London bring their trumpet-led band called Sungrass to North Devon Jazz Club in The Beaver, Appledore on Monday, 15th September. Drawing inspiration from the melodic sensibilities of contemporary jazz artists such as The RH Factor, Pat Metheny and Butcher Brown the band also leans on influences from gospel, fusion and soul. The result is music ranging from sincere and heartfelt to blistering with energy.
